Stallone, The Italian Stallion, is a neutered, blue & white male that is about 2.5 years old. He was found as a stray and brought to a shelter for safe keeping. There he had a lot of "interest" but no actual applications or meets. So Good Karma Dog Rescue stepped up and pulled him out of there, due to the fact that he was beginning to show a prominent limp in his back left leg. We brought him to our vet today for xrays and they showed a slight partial ACL tear in both knees but they are old injuries that have already started to heal. We started him on anti inflammatory meds, a joint diet and some laser treatments. The fact that he is very skinny is very much in his favor right now. We will be putting some needed weight on him, working on his legs & strength and possibly start some water therapy with him. His foster dad says he is really a great boy, great on a loose leash, but displays some puppy behaviors from never having been taught anything. He hunches a bit like he was crate locked for a long time. He did great on his dog to dog test, and meet several cats today that he really liked! He is crate trained and housebroken (all dogs need a refresher after shelter life). He is a really good, beautiful boy and will be available for adoption soon!
